Becoming an Avon Representative is a wonderful decision. Whether your mother or grandmother sold it, you’ve sold it in the past or you just want to give it a try for the first time, there is no better choice for a direct selling company. You may not know how to go about getting started though, so here are some tips.

• Contact a Local Avon Representative and ask if she can sign you up. Many reps are Leadership Representatives and can give you a kit and sign you up on the spot. Once you complete your application, you can start selling IMMEDIATELY!
• Sign up on the Avon website. I’m not sure what the response time is, but you fill out a form and someone will return your call.
• Get the number of your local Avon District Manager. You can call 1-800-FOR-AVON for this number. District Managers will respond fairly quickly and can get you going.

What Does an Appointment Consist Of?

Signing up to become an Avon Representative is referred to as an appointment. This is your first training contact and you will receive a lot of information. The cost is $10 and you will receive a starter kit consisting of 20 brochures, a box of samples and lots of valuable information to help you be successful with your business.
